Team Meetup

Meeting the team in real life is purely a joy. We discussed ideas, problems, mistakes, way ahead, had amazing food, played ludo ;) (the last day)

Remote is great, so is meeting the team in real life. Everything seems to be different and refreshing meeting your people in real life.

First Paying Customer

Every startup team has this long-awaited desire to see their work eventually making economic transactions in the real world.

We have been building for more than 2 year now, fueler is a result of several pivots we made to understand the market behavior. Fueler has been in beta for more than 5 months now. We were able to onboard close to 1500 fuelers to try our private beta.

So yes, finally we are getting ready for the public beta and eventually our paid features. This December, let's do it.

PS: we are planning a surprise for the first 1500 fuelers. It's a great day to be a part of it. Click here

Talk to the decision-makers

Portfolios are going to be inspected by the employers, founders, business owners. On discussing about our bucket with Almas, she made a great point. Everything comes down to the decision-makers if they are satisfied with their portfolio.

Even though a work portfolio of an individual is just the first step towards getting hired, it's not always about hard skills, there are a lot of other factors involved during decision making.

This gave us a perspective on why should decision-makers are also the part of the process, what if they reject your portfolio on fueler. What will help them in decision making, what will make them trust the individual? Will it be enough?

Bootstrapping through self-funding

This is the case when you are working to make money in order to fund your startup. Bootstrapping has three stages: Self Funded, Customer Funded, and Venture Funded. Venture Funded is a very rare case where you raise funds even though you are a profit-making company.

We are eventually learning the importance of raising funds. It gives you time, a huge amount of time to play around with your idea, market, and its users.

Startup ideas require a lot of time for experimentations, building, deploying and the loops goes on and on.

Context Switching is something that we are dealing with a lot. The trade-off: getting very little time to work on fueler than we should have at this point in time.
